December 2021 Newsletter

A much better turn out this month. Unfortunately with Chris in hospital I was not able to come along. With many thanks to Fred I have some photos of the day to put in this newsletter. It looks as though Paul was the only one on the lathe and turnng out some unusual pieces. A penguin and a Gonk. It looks as though Paul was telling you all about this creature (is it Nordic myth). No doubt I will get the lowdown one day. Ok I have just googled it and it is Scandinavian and is a Nordic mythical figure of Santa. That's about it for November.

The next meeting is on Saturday 11th December and it will be a club day again. I hope I will be able to join you but it all depends on Chris's health as I am still not driving
There is a copy of the demonstrators for next year enclosed.
Finding people for next year has been a difficult job for Matthew but he has got a good list so far and is still hoping to fill another gap.
Also enclosed are the renewal forms for next year. I think Paul would rather have as many of us as possible pay by card at the door. It makes banking so much easier. If that doesn't work for you then send them to me in the usual way.
Here's hoping I will see you all next month

Graham
